Great Wall of China
The Great Wall of China is an east-to-west line at the northern borders of China which is made of brick, wood, stone and other material to protect the country from invaders. It was built under many dynasties of China and took more than 2,300 years to complete its length is 21,196.18 km. Evidence show that labor who died at the time of making this wall buried in it. The Colosseum which is also known as Flavian Amphitheatre is an amphitheater (an open-air venue used for performances) in the city of Rome. In AD 72 Emperor Vespasian started to build it but completed by his son Titus in AD 80. The total capacity of spectators was approx. 45,000 seated and 5,000 standing. Gladiators fighting with lions, tigers and other gladiators till death were the most famous games of this place.
Machu Picchu built by Incas emperor Pachacuti (1438-1472) with dry stone walls on a mountain ridge 2,430 meters above sea level. The primary attraction of this wonder are the Inti Watana, the Temple of the Sun, and the Room of the Three Windows. Inca built it around 1450 but left it a century later because of Spanish Invasion. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and listed in 7 Wonders of World
Christ The Redeemer
This 98ft tall and arms stretched 92ft wide statue (material use: Soapstone and reinforced concrete) made by Brazilian engineer Heitor da Silva Costa and French engineer Albert Caquot. It is located at Tijuca Forest National Park overlooking the city of Rio which was built between 1922 and 1931.
Shah Jahan commissioned this white marble house tomb for his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal who died giving birth to their 14th child. This tomb built in 42 Acre land and situated on the south bank of Yamuna River in Agra City. Ustad Ahmad Lahauri was the lead architect of this project who led around 20, 000 artist for this Monument and took more than 10 years for completion.
It is a famous city of southern Jordan for its colors rock cut architecture and water channel system. It was made around 312 BC and nowadays most visited tourist destination in Jordan. Entrance to the city is 1 km long and 80m high narrow valley. After entering the site you will see Al-Khazneh (Treasury), a 3,000 people capacity open theater, museums, carved street and sacrificial altars.
Chichen Itza means “At the mouth of the well of the Itza” which is located in Tinúm Municipality, Yucatán State of Mexico. It is built by Mayan people during Terminal Classic period (c. AD 600–900).
